  7. EXPRESS SNA Server - a full-featured implementation of IBM's SNA architecture.
  8. It provides direct communications between a single UNIX system and an IBM
  9. mainframe or AS/400 system running over SNA/SDLC, Token-Ring, or QLLC.  It can
  10. also operate in a client/server mode:  a single UNIX system on the local area
  11. network, running EXPRESS SNA Server software, can be a gateway to one or more
  12. IBM hosts, with every user (client) on the LAN able to access the host.
  13. Clients of the EXPRESS SNA Server can be UNIX or Windows systems.  EXPRESS SNA
  14. Server provides the following capabilities:  LU types 1,2 and 3 for 3270,
  15. 3179-G and 3287 printer emulation; LU6.2/APPN for cooperative processing; LU0
  16. for custom SNA applications; 3770 SNA/RJE system emulation; X.25 for
  17. exchanging data with worldwide packet-switched data networks; and IP Router
  18. for routing TCP/IP traffic over SNA/LU6.2 and X.25 networks.
